Donald (Don) Hitch contributed to the business and general aviation industry for 44 years. He has been engaged with flight operations, management and leadership functions at various levels. During his career, he exhibited a desire to succeed through hard work, attention to details and establishing a positive work environment.

Hitch is viewed as a team player that will never jeopardize the integrity of his team or organization.

His deep passion for the aviation industry has afforded him opportunities in various arenas. As a pilot he has logged almost 8,000 hours and is ATP type rated in the Boeing 767/757, the Global Express, and the Gulfstream V, III and II. During his career he has held positions operating under FAR Part 135, 125 and 91. Additional responsibilities have included assisting in the development of a flight operation for a WWII war bird collection. Hitch has been instrumental in developing and fostering strong relationships with industry regulators and vendors.

Hitch’s contributions to his communities included mentoring high school students, assisting with various professional aviation organizations and volunteering at both the local and national level. He also participated in several best practice operational audits and served on NBAA committees.
